AN UPDATE ON SARACARE
As of November, 2007 your generosity has made it possible for The SaraCare Fund to donate over $50,000.00 to:
Kentucky Children's Hospital (television/dvd/vcr combos in every room of the Children's hospital, including out-patient and PICU, a Wii machine in honor of Hayes Rogers, and an art fund in honor of Tiffany Cheek)
Berea Hospital (four mobile television/dvd/vcr carts and installation of a meal plan providing free meals to those staying with loved ones when needed) Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Clinic ( a Wii machine in honor of Hayes Rogers)
Kentucky Clinic Pharmacy (installation of an account to aid in prescription drug co-pays for patients of the Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Clinic)
Gas Cards (for use by patients at the Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Clinic)
Educational Scholarships at Berea Community and Madison Southern High Schools
American Cancer Society (through Madison County's Relay for Life)
Donations to the Matt Ross Fund (a youth assistance fund) Cash donations to help families stressed financially due to a family member's catastrophic illness.
